Big box retailer Best Buy offers a full range of premium cell phone insurance options to smartphone owners, allowing consumers to easily replace a faulty device with a new one. However, some cell phone owners might consider canceling their insurance plan.

How to cancel a Geek Squad insurance plan

There are several proven methods for canceling a Geek Squad smartphone insurance plan. Please note that these methods will also work for an insurance plan provided for any other piece of technology you have purchased from Best Buy. Before canceling the plan, it is important to know the lifespan of the smartphone so as not to cancel when you still have a few years left to use your device.
