From sports to sparkles, your Galaxy phone has a theme for every style. You can customize the Galaxy themes, Samsung wallpapers, and icons on your device to fit your tastes. A theme can also change the color design for Contacts, Messages, Settings, and the Quick settings panel, so your device can truly be your own. And if you have a Samsung account, you can even download themes or icons you've already purchased on another device. To finish giving your device the perfect custom look, you can browse the phone cases available on our website.

You keep everything on your phone, including private information. With Secure Folder, you can hide your personal data using a special passcode. That way, no one will see anything you don't want them to see.

Sometimes app developers will release updates to fix bugs, or make improvements to their apps on the Play Store or Galaxy Store. Keeping your apps updated is the best way to make sure you always have the latest features and the best performance. You don't have to worry about keeping track of updates for every single app on your phone or tablet, however. You can turn on auto-updates and let it do it for you.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy phone a few years ago while i was in Czech Republic as an expat and i also created a Samsung account to make the most of my device. My account is using the English language as a preference

I moved back to Greece and recently i bought an S23 phone from the Greek market. After logging on with my Samsung account i started customizing my phone by selecting apps and themes from Samsung store and galaxy themes app respectively.

Galaxy Themes for some reason keeps showing Czech language in it's content page. Samsung experts told me that it pulls up data from a lot of sources and also checks the country the account has been created to, before showing content on user's screen and that i should create a new Samsung account in Greece to solve my issue.

So i created a new account using a different email and i used it to log on to Samsung account and Galaxy Themes.
To my surprise the problem still remains. I see Czech language in Galaxy Themes app and i have no idea what else to do. I tried clearing cache and data from the app but the problem is still there.

I opened a ticket to the Czech Samsung support and i am waiting for a possible response.

Anyone ever had that issue?????

I managed to find the solution myself.
Looks like Galaxy Themes app reads country/language data from the last sim card in line. I have 2 sim cards one Greek and one Czech. I switches slots (Greek sim slot 2 - Czech sim slot 1) which resolved the problem.

This behavior happens ONLY got Galaxy Themes app. The rest of the apps such like Store etc work based on the country/language settings i have on my Samsung account.

Bottom line is i deleted my initial account probably for nothing and Samsung's junior support have no feedback from the actual devs behind the apps.

I have asked for dark mode to add theming ability ever since it came out. There was a certain version of the GTS that accidentally added that and people loved it. I got many reviews from people being happy that it was added.

The best feature for us, designers, but also for the users, would be to allow the user to select (easily) a different theme for dark mode. Then the theme(s) are coherent and the user will have the dark/light mode working very well. And we may sell more themes.

I think this matter is not taken as seriously as it should. I worked for 8 years as a mobile technician, met plenty of other technicians, came across a lot of clients (like a lot a lot) and I can say with absolute certainty there are many, many users who choose their smartphones (especially the rather younger ones) based on how much they can customize them. So, implementing this dark mode feature will not only improve theme sales (being able to create 2 themes in 1), but also the mobile device sales and I strongly believe that this improvement would be quite noticeable (not to mention that everyone on the planet would talk about it).

Samsung has lots of things called partners. For Themes there are two types of partners. One is for all of Samsung and it has to do with merchandising and special access, etc. and you do not need to be that type of Samsung Partner.

However Theme designing (and that includes Wallpapers, icons and AOD) does require you to be approved as a Theme partner. You can not just upload wallpapers to the seller store like Android wallpapers. Samsung has a closed ecosystem for designers for themes and watch faces.

Ok, I have downloaded new themes and I still cannot find a theme that shows in my messaging, email or anywhere else that I can find. I'm I too old? Is it because I'm a retard? Ney ney I say. There must be something else I am missing. I wish I could have a little help.

Galaxy Themes is the official Samsung app for modifying your smartphone's theme. If you're tired of the way your smartphone looks, this app offers tons of options for giving your smartphone a fresh look whenever you want. It's incredibly simple and intuitive, and you can find it preinstalled on your Samsung smartphone.

Open the app's menu to see the complete list of options. Each of the themes included in Galaxy Themes is different from all the rest, and you can see what they look like by tapping on them. That way, you'll have an idea of what your smartphone will look like if you decide to use that theme.

Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.

No one can tell you what to do to get accepted, you need to go through your application PDF as if you were a team of people who are reviewing 200 applications to find the best. Does yours stand out, have you made the effort to customize and be unique? Does your design show that you understand what can be themed on a Samsung phone? Your concept is important too.

The more you highlight your skills, and the more you stand out, the better. I can only offer suggestions. The reviewers are human, if your theme submission is exemplary I doubt they would reject you for minor technical details if you follow their main guidelines. Good luck.

First let me say this. The biggest complaint I hear from Theme Sellers is the flood of crappy box cutter themes being released and making it hard for their quality theme to be seen. Samsung has tightened up recruitment and cracking down on many theme designers to get rid of these designer factories.

When I came to Android, back in the Gingerbread era, the world was a dark and glorious place. Everything was black and blue and beautiful. Then the Material era came, and my darkness was stolen away and replaced with searing, sinister white and gray. I've begged for my dark theme to return to me ever since, even dabbling in the dark arts to get it back a time or two. But I always go back to stock and stark white, for better or worse. Luckily, I don't have to: Samsung Themes brought dark themes back to Android years ago, and they're actually pretty dang good.

Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled that Samsung realized that its awful old blue/green color scheme was horrible and allowed us all to ditch it for something a little more appealing. And Samsung Themes utilizing OMS themes like Substratum does (kinda) means that Samsung putting so much effort into its theme engine lays a bigger and better groundwork for all kinds of theming potential. It's just that there are three very glaring flaws in the Samsung Themes engine and its system, and each one of them is fixable, though some more easily than others.

The first problem is the one that most Samsung users can recognize, even if they're not avid and meticulous themers: icon packs in Samsung Themes flat-out fail. They only include icons for a few dozen "standard" Samsung and system apps, and the rest? Well, they get an ugly backer slapped behind them, or worse, get no backer at all. Adaptive icons were supposed to fix the toxic hellstew that is the Android icon space, but they're slow to be implemented and they're still not nearly as consistent as desired.

For better or worse, icon packs are still the best option for a consistent app drawer, and Samsung Themes' icon packs are pale shadows of their former selves, being vastly inferior to their Google Play versions. The solution to this is simple: allow Google Play icons packs to be used in the Samsung Themes engine. Yes, Samsung would lose some revenue here by not selling the packs themselves, but the icon packs on Samsung Themes are not worth paying for.
