I think I have va ersion that fixes all known MacOS 27 issues. Because of other commitments and travel, the posting will likely be soon after October 15th. The main issues that needed fixes (and will remain until new posting) are:
1. Links in reports or html content will not work. The new version will restore all those links to working and no need to change any them. No change now can help and no change is needed for them to work again in new version.
2. Liquid Glass "feature" in MacOS 27 causes some table headers and tree rules to be difficult to read when scrolling. Those features all work and new version will clear them up.
3. Clicking at end of text field will put cursor with last row instead of at the end. Fix for now with down arrow to get to the last row. It is fixed in new version.
I don't know of any other issue yet. Let me know if you find any.
The last wrinkle causing a delay now is that XCode for MacOS 27 (which is required to develop) no longer lets me target any MacOS before MacOS 12 (Monterrey). Even though GEDitCOM II is compatible back to MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and works for Intel and Silicon Macs, I cannot create a version that will run on older Macs. I think I found a way to compile for 10.13 in a virtual machine, but it will require two version --- one for 10.12 to 11 and one for 12 and up.
Another question --- is anyone reading this list using MacOS older than 12?

John Nairn
