Hey guys,

I thought it would be cool to start collecting a list of things that use Geddy. So, what are you guys working on? I'm interested in these things:

  1. The name of the app
  2. The domain of the app (if you have one)
  3. How long you've been working on it
  4. How big of a team you've got
Thanks!

I'll start:

1. GeddyJS.org website
3. It took about 36 hours (most spent on content creation)
4. It was just me!

Awesome, this looks cool. After a brief look through, might I suggest using the geddy.log.error()method instead of console.log? It'll help you parse through the logs if you need to later :)

This is an alpha version(very young and working only 20%) of my social network, it's only valid for my town.
Here the unhabitants can talk, read news, create events, vote polls....it's like facebook but in mini version, and more informative. A "social newspaper" :D

1. [internal custom cms for client]
2. [confidential for client]
3. about 2 months (including about 2 weeks evaluating various node-based frameworks)
4. just me

No.1 - the cms would 'export' data to other sites that pulled jsonp

No.3 - is a bit deceptive. That does not include abortive attempts with a couple php frameworks which took up another month or so.

1. Geddy Todo Extended: This is  the modified version of the Todo application. My challenge was a data-grid with multiple column sorting, multiple column filtering and paging. Paging and sorting operation is async. I used Jade as view engine and Knockout.js to manipulate the DOM. Application is deployed in heroku. I used MongoHQ as database provider.
2. http://geddy.herokuapp.com
3. I am new to Node.js and Geddy it took me couple of weeks to finish. Also, I came across some bugs in mde/model
4. Myself

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hey, this is really neat. I definitely miss grid views with ajax sorting already done, as part of default scaffolding.

1. Kickstarter (in-house project)
2. No domain yet and if so will not go public
3. About 60 hours (since some weeks)
4. Myself

This app is an in-house productivity tool. It spawns websites made with traditional CMS like Wordpress. With it you can create website templates and simply duplicate those templates to create a new project/website. It also includes some deployment methods (like simple FTP) to quickly deploy those websites on other servers.

This looks really useful. I see a lot of people using Ghost these days, and it's great to have a painless way to get your Wordpress et al content into the new system. Excellent work. :)

I started building this private social network so my family could use it to share photos and keep in touch. I also am working on an API to build mobile apps to connect to it. I decided to open source it so anyone can set it up themselves as well.

Okay, and I would love a bit of help too:

  1. The name of the app   peerchat
  2. The domain of the app (if you have one)    superchatus
  3. How long you've been working on it     a few days
  4. How big of a team you've got     it is only me...Question: I need to run a development server on localhost from AWS to create my second peer. I think Geddy will do this. The app works but obviously I ended up here.  What went wrong? Thanks for an help :)
