ClientApp needs some information from Workfront, so it sends a request to the Workfront API /authorize endpoint. The request includes the response_type code, which indicates that the request should return an authorization code.
If the authorization code and the client secret are correct, Workfront sends an access token to ClientApp. This access token is sent directly from Workfront to ClientApp, and cannot be viewed, copied, or used by any other user or client application.
The process for acquiring a refresh token is the same as the procedure discussed in the section Authorizing with an authorization code and access token. The request for the authorization code includes the scope offline_access, which indicates that the request should return a request token along with the authorization code.
In the Authorization Code grant, the Client ultimately exchanges an authorization code for an access token. To start this flow, the Resource Owner makes a request to the Client. The Client then redirects the Resource Owner to the Authorization Server, passing a client_id, state, and redirect_uri. After the Resource Owner authenticates, the redirect_uri is passed by the Authorization Server back to the Resource Owner along with a code. The Resource Owner then passes the code to the redirect_uri (which should be on the Client). The Client can then use the code, in conjunction with the client_id and client_secret to retrieve the access code.
The code parameter contains the authorization code received from the authorization server by the Resource Owner. The Resource Owner then presents this to the Client, which can use it to retrieve an access_token from the Authorization Server. The access_token can then be used to access the protected resources on the Resource Server.
The software will need an authorization code entered once per year; new codes are available in late-August when we renew our license. The Reauthorization Instructions below include both the instructions and the code.

I am trying to do the authorization code flow using Spotify's API to ultimately add songs to a playlist. I am building this from scratch, and not using any libraries such as Spotipy.
This approach allows you to complete both firmware flashing and module authorization by using the Cloud Module Burning Authorization Platform. This platform is integrated with the software for flashing firmware to Tuya standard chip. Before flashing firmware, you need to upload the firmware binary file to the Tuya IoT Development Platform as instructed and get the license (also known as the credential).
This approach is used when you debug code or when the Cloud Module Burning Authorization Platform is not integrated with the flashing software for the chip you use. You have two options for flashing firmware, depending on how you implement authorization.
If you fail to request the authorization code, you need to create an account with Smart PMS system first. The phone number used to create the Smart PMS account must be the same as the one for your Tuya IoT Development Platform account.
The firmware identifier or firmware version flashed to the module is inconsistent with the one associated with the license. This error usually occurs when you use the credential (authorization only). Try the following to troubleshoot:
