Geco and Leap will not work together for me - help!

I was very inspired by the use of Geco and Leap in the recent utube video " Cubase Hidden Gem..." by Hagai Davidoff. So I just bought the Leap !

There are several issues for me  - some I know are Leap's problems (who I am also contacting).

1  Geco will not work with Leap's recommended installation (Version 4.0.0). Leap complains that Geco uses the old API calls which are no longer supported. Ok fair enough - so....

2. I installed the V2.3.1  software instead. However it complains during installation that I do not have my video card drivers installed - but of course I do (AMD Radeon - also completely up to date). The  Leap installation warns that ignoring this error may prevent the software from working - and it certainly does not work)

Any suggestions ?

Are you planning to update the API calls to work with the current Leap software?  The Geco app looks extremely useful and I very disappointed I cannot get it to work.  The V2.3.1 leap software looks like it is some 5 years old now and I bet they will not update it at all anymore

If there is no solution in the short term I will have return the Leap controller as it has no use to me if Geco cannot work.  

Is there another motion controller that will work with Geco?

Hi Andrew,

As soon as Leap Motion brings out the Orion SDK for Mac, we'll start porting GECO to it. We don't have any visibility about when that will happen.

Great, thanks for the update!

I finally got leap 2.3.1 working... they had a temporary patch in a non-obvious thread on their web site.. so all is good now! Apparently the last major win10 update broke their software they say....

I look forward to an updated GECO  for windows!

Hey, you don't happen to have that patch do you? I'm having trouble getting my Geco with Leap Controller to work, same version.
