Trying to download LXQT but the downloads are to slow 2 hours plus, needs looking at as

 that is to slow

Thanks for reporting this. Which Sourceforge mirror did you hit? I am
currently waiting on a response from Sourceforge about the issue.

I haved the same problem until i clicked on "other mirrors" , and tried a different one, like the one in Japan. I downloaded the Cinnamon and LXQT isos in 15/20 minutes. Good luck!

I had the same problem. I think something is going wrong at Sourceforge with the mirroring. You can choose yourself the nearest and hopefully therefore, the fastest mirror but you have only seconds to press this choice. Currently, these are the options:
