How to install GL on a USB

I've got the distro burned to a 32GB flash drive as Live Version. I would LOVE to be able to use it as my OS but I can't save ANYTHING... settings, users, browser stuff, can't install anything without it vaporizing at reboot, etc. How do I do that?

I got the Rolling Version of the latest distro.

Hi there, the Rolling editions have not yet been updated with the new build system, and therefore do not support USB persistence yet.
