GMP v1.0.4 not playing ASX streaming video using mythbuntu/opera

Mythbuntu 12.04 (64bit) PC
Opera 11.64 I'm using Opera with the following plugins:
gecko-mediaplayer 1.0.4
Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202
VLC Version 2.0.1 Twoflower
IcedTea-Web Plugin 1.2

The following MIME types exist within Opera pertaining to ASX and
utilize the gecko-mediaplayer plugin:
video/x-ms-asx
video/x-ms-asf-plugin
video/x-ms-asf
application/asx


I'm trying to view ASX videos. But I can't. I'd like to view URL's
that use the ASX streaming protocol. How do I diagnose the problem?
How do I figure out why it's not working?

Here are some URLs that fail:

http://www.nasa.gov/145588main_Digital_Edu.asx
All recorded programs listed by Mythweb cannot be viewed using the ASX
feature with "Opera/gecko-mediaplayer" combo.

I believe this was fixed in 1.0.5 or maybe 1.0.6. I tested it here in Firefox with the 1.0.7beta and those links work fine.

Are you sure that VLC is not grabbing those media types?
