Kevin -

When starting a new video in gecko-mediaplyaer under 1.0.7, the text "Subtitles Visible" appears in the upper-left of the player. Is this debug code? Can I disable it?

Kurt,

This is caused by the OSD level in mplayer. Go into edit preferences
and turn down the Onscreen Display and that message will go away.

This is caused by the code that queries if the subtitles are visible
or not so that the code can update the GUI to the right state.
