Geb + load UI (performance testing)

My suggest is, same Geb functional script will be used for performance testing but not sure, how its possible.  

I know in old version of load UI (2.6 open source written in java )we can create geb script for performace test.

Create same shot of jar file which support geb script in performance testing as well.
