I'm sure there are many users who run Mac OSX 10.6.x "Snow Leopard"
who, like myself, would like to run Gears. Is there a target date for
release of an update that will run on this operating system? I'm
surprised that Gears can not even run with Google Chrome on Snow
Leopard! It seems like this would be a priority?

Indeed. 10.6 can hardly be considered too fresh for not having support
from Gears. Then again, Google and Apples days of cuddling seems to
over.

Thing is that Google's Chrome browser and Safari are both based on
WebKit. Chrome works fine on 10.6. BTW, gears isn't working on Firefox
3.6 either.

Of course, the no-support-for-snow-leopard thing is pretty much a show
stopper on using Gears for any development. Not going to have 30% of
the web upgrading themselves into a state that they can't run a Gears-
dependent app and then wait for Google to get to it when they get to
it.

Yes.

Thank you.
