Hi all,
Using geolocation seems to work very well when browsing via my phone
-- with GPS turned on I get very accurate positions shown to me in
HTML5 sites that use geolocation. However, when I connect a GPS
device to a laptop (via USB, for example) the browser does not seem to
use it...and probably isn't even aware of it at all. Instead, it
seems to use my IP address and just say that I'm downtown, in the
center of the city.
Is gears capable of using a USB attached GPS to provide accurate
geolocation, or am I stuck with wifi/IP address?
