gears in chrome

Hi 

Since y'day I have not been able to make google gears work. I have reinstalled chrome but get the following error from google gears: Your browser is not supported. 

I'm running windows 7.


Help!

gears has basically been deprecated - http://gearsblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/hello-html5.html

and is no longer included in chrome

Unfortunately, Gears is no longer supported in Chrome as of version
12.
