GEARs Members,
You usually receive these messages to hear about great bike rides that GEARs offers every week throughout the year--but there's one day we hope you'll instead help GEARs provide great bicycling to OTHER people. The Blackberry bRamble is coming up on Sunday, August 2--and we need your volunteer help.
One of the easiest, and most important, jobs is to serve as a marshal to help riders stay on the correct route while also greeting and encouraging them. The marshals are the face of the bRamble to the riders, and help make it one of the best and friendliest cycling events in Oregon.
If you can offer a couple of hours to help make the Blackberry bRamble a success, please contact Sue at
sue.w...@gmail.com. Most of the shifts are in the afternoon, so you can still have the morning to yourself, and enjoy a pizza party and prizes at the end of the ride. And you'll have a clean conscience as you enjoy GEARs rides for the rest of the year! Please help us out!
Thanks,
Sue
P.S. Sorry if this is a duplicate message for you. If you received it before and have already responded, THANK YOU, and please delete this message. If you haven't already responded: please think about it again, knowing that we still REALLY need your help!
