I am currently running the Gearman Job Server on Ubuntu 22.04, but I'm experiencing a situation where the Gearman Job Server throws an error and crashes. The specific error messages and logs are as follows:

gearman-job-server.service: Service hold-off time over, scheduling restart.
gearman-job-server.service: Scheduled restart job, restart counter is at 5.
Stopped gearman job control server.
gearman-job-server.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
gearman-job-server.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
Failed to start gearman job control server.

Do you have any solutions or advice for this issue? Additionally, if anyone has encountered a similar problem, I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences or solutions.

Environment:
OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Gearman Version: 1.1.18+ds
Any information would be helpful, and I appreciate your assistance. Thank you for your time despite your busy schedule.

Hello,

I am on Debian, but that should be fairly close to what is available on
Ubuntu.

You can check the log /var/log/gearman-job-server/gearmand.log which is
written to by the Gearman daemon. It looks it fails to start for some
reason and the log file might given a clue.

You can make it more verbose by passing the --verbose INFO or --verbose
DEBUG to gearmand. That can be done by editing
/etc/default/gearman-job-server and adding it in PARAMS.

You can also try running it manually as your regular user and see what
happens?
