Hello, everyone!

I just released gearmand 1.1.22 on GitHub.

https://github.com/gearman/gearmand/releases/tag/1.1.22

As it says on GitHub, this release is mainly to address build issues with gcc/g++ 14.x/15.x and autoconf 2.72 as well as various minor issues found with CodeQL.

This is my first release, so be gentle. :-) Clint Byrum checked over my release tarball and gave it his blessing, fwiw. I generated a new GPG key since mine was way too old to be secure. The tarball signature can be verified with my GPG public key https://asd.gsfc.nasa.gov/Edward.Sabol/sabol-public-key.asc. I think I uploaded it to some public key servers as well. Clint and I felt it was time that I have the capability to release a new version, and I thank him for his tutelage in how to do so. (See https://github.com/gearman/gearmand/pull/425.)

Regards,
Ed

Ed, I want to thank you for your years of service to the project. I haven't always been able to stay on top of gearmand, but you've picked up all my slack and contributed so much beyond that to keeping this old little daemon churning out stable releases. Cheers!
