The psychology Grade Booster workshop was a fantastic way for my year 13 psychology students to spend the day thinking about their upcoming exams, and they received helpful tips on how to succeed from amazing subject experts! Offering early intervention and supportingexam preparation for the AQA Power and Conflict anthology. We begin with a run through of the poems to contextualise themes and move into dramatic performance workshop depiction and re-write of the poems to help pupils embody and own the theme/s further. Later in the session we conclude with a slam to share interpretations in groups which again help pupils identify with the themes further in a fun and creative way.

The "C1 Advanced Booster" is suited to advanced users who seek intensive and accelerated preparation for the "Cambridge C1 Advanced" exam. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and practice exam techniques for the four papers (Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and will be supported in their preparation based on previous exam papers. Although the course aims to prepare participants for the Cambridge exam, it can also be taken by those who seek to attain an advanced level of English without the certificate.
Our Cambridge preparation courses were originally spread over two semesters and lasted 48 lessons. As of the fall semester 2020, the course will be delivered in 32 lessons within one semester. This booster format will prepare participants both swiftly and thoroughly for the official Cambridge C1 Advanced exam.
