GEFS not working at all. (Firefox, Win 7)

Hello all.
I've tried to fire up GEFS on my pc for the past few days now only to find nothing is working. I can only see the earth, no airports and planes will load, and i can't fly. GEFS settings also does not pick up my keyboard, mouse or joystick. I've reinstalled the google earth plugin twice, cleared cache and tried different browsers (Chrome, Opera, even Internet Explorer), but nothing is working. I'm on Windows 7 and everything is updated to the latest version.
