Dear Dr. Wang,

Thank you for your invitation on the guest lecture.
It would be our pleasure to have opportunity to communicate with you and your students on osteoporosis prevention.

I will pass the following discussion to the member of the Osteoporosis Primary Care Initiative Task Force - Mr. Samuel Mak. I also copied this email to Mr. Mak. He can also be reached by phone:

Dear Sir/Madam

As a language teacher at Baptist University, I am writing to invite one of your colleagues to give a guest lecture on osteoporosis prevention in HK for a General Education course for 3rd-year undergraduates in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021.  I have read with interest a letter to the editor by Mr. Samual Mak on this topic: https://www.scmp.com/comment/letters/article/3032393/hong-kongs-elderly-and-public-health-care-system-would-benefit and plan to pursue this topic by contacting Department of Health and collecting more information under the Code on Access to Information. I have used this approach to investigate different topics and published letters in SCMP, e.g. https://www.scmp.com/comment/letters/article/3029669/hong-kong-cancer-patients-public-hospitals-need-better-information Through the GE course, students may work on different topics and collaborate with NGOs such as yours to pressure the government to provide better services for the community.
I look forward to further discussion with you on how to engage the students on your cause. I also copy this email to Ben my colleague from the Department of English who also teaches this course.

Cheers
Simon
