Dear Sir/Madam
I’m writing to express my concern on the 1823 team’s decision to stop handling email messages from the public. Since the team processes messages sent to numerous government department email addresses this decision essentially cuts off the channels for the public to communicate with the government by email. If the 1823 team cannot handle emails from the public during the pandemic it should let the individual departments take over their enquiry email accounts. Deciding to close all email channels for the concerning departments is irresponsible and this decision should be reviewed by all departments involved. Thanks in advance for looking into this matter.

Yours sincerely
Simon Wang
