Dear Sir/Madam

I’m writing to seek information about the protocol and service level expectation of your department regarding a case of uneven pavement. Attached is the picture. This particular place was outside the purview of your department.
I’m asking a set of hypothetical question:1)  should a case like this one be found on the road/pavement under the administration of your department and a complaint were received from a member of the public, will your department carry out the maintenance work (an old lady tripped over it)? 2) If so, how long would it usually take? 3) Under which category would the department file a case like this? 4) What is the framework used by the department to categorize cases like this one and other cases of different but comparable  nature?
Wherever applicable please refer to Code on Access to Information when answering my questions. Thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely
Simon Wang
