More cars on Lantau Island?

Dear Sir/Madam

        I refer to a letter to the editor in SCMP on the captioned matter https://www.scmp.com/comment/letters/article/3090207/let-more-private-cars-get-access-lantau-island-roads I’ll look into the matter and ask more questions in due course. In the meantime I wonder if the department has any response to the letter. I also believe that the department should consider writing a letter in SCMP in reply.
