THE BRIDGE PROJECT
IN
KILIMANJARO TANZANIA.
COME AND INCREASE YOUR AIESEC EXPERIENCE BY PROVIDING CAREER DEVELOPMENT TRAININGS TO THE FINALIST.
OVERALL PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1. To provide well trained and competent university graduates to the Tanzanian corporate and non corporate world.
2. To impart soft skills and knowledge to the finalists students that will prepare them for the job market and make it easier for recruiters to employ them
3. To provide a platform for the employers to contribute to career development of their future employees by meeting the students at workshops and seminars and provide trainings
4. To have AIESEC generally contributing to a desired corporate model for Tanzania in particular and Africa in general
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Project will start from 4th June to July 17th 2011 taking exactly six weeks and the working days five days a week from Monday to Friday. Sometimes Saturday the intern shall be required to work for only 3 hours.
The type of work to be done by interns include,
· Training the finalist on Career Planning and development.
· Training the finalist on Personal SWOT analysis.
· Training the finalist on Search for a job and writing an effective CV/ Resume
· Training the finalist on interview skills, presentation skills, time management skills, management skills, negotiation and communication skills.
· To coordinate sessions that will be run by Human Resource Managers from different companies.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Accommodation is provided for only $100, the whole period of internship. The EPs will be required to cover the meals costs.
An opportunity for a study tour to Zanzibar and other conducive national parks like Mt. Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro crater, lake manyara, tarangire, Serengeti, mikumi national parks and Udzungwa mountains., this will be arranged by interns themselves.
A certificate will be awarded to the interns.
