Hi everyone,

I was recently looking into some updated data for Facebook ad performance in 2026, and I wanted to share a few takeaways regarding Conversion Rate (CVR).

A lot of us get caught up in "vanity metrics" like Cost Per Click (CPC) or reach. While those tell you how much you're paying for attention, they don’t actually tell you what that attention is worth. In 2026, CVR has become the clearest signal of whether your funnel, creative, and offer are actually aligned.

What are the benchmarks right now? Based on recent industry research, the average Facebook Ads conversion rate across all sectors is hovering around 8.95%. However, there is a massive gap depending on what you sell:

  • Fitness & Health: Leading the pack at ~14.2%

  • B2B SaaS: Around 10.6%

  • E-commerce: Usually lower, closer to 3.2%

  • Technology: Around 2.3%

What is considered "Good"? Generally, if you are seeing a CVR between 8.2% and 9.2%, you are hitting the sweet spot. If your rate is below 3% despite having high clicks, it’s usually a sign that your landing page or offer—not your ad—is the problem.

A quick way to check your math: If you need a refresher on the formula: (Total Conversions ÷ Total Ad Clicks) x 100 = CVR%

For example, if you get 2,400 clicks and 108 sales, your CVR is 4.5%.

How to move the needle: If your results feel stuck, try these two things before messing with your audience settings:

  1. Fix the Offer: Is your offer solving a specific, painful problem? Specificity beats cleverness every time. Instead of "Download our guide," try something like "Get 17 proven templates for 6-figure brands."

  2. Creative-Led Targeting: In 2026, Meta's AI is doing the heavy lifting. Your "Targeting" is now your video or image. If your creative doesn't call out your audience in the first 3 seconds, the AI won't know who to show it to.

If you want to read the full breakdown and see the industry charts, you can check out the original post here: https://agencygdt.com/blog/facebook-ads-conversion-rate/

Is anyone else seeing a shift in their conversion rates this quarter? I'd love to hear what's working for your specific niche.

Best,
