we have now gdsfactory installers for Windows, MacOs and Linux

And we also have a DEVSIM TCAD simulation plugin

Last week we released gdsfactory 6.0.0 with gdstk instead of gdspy as the backend

if you thought gdsfactory was quite fast compared to other tools, you will find that the new gdsfactory is from 1.5x to 200x faster

the main speed up becomes more noticeable when reading and writing big gds files and using booleans
