I had a text document get overwritten during a sync, losing quite a
bit of work. Is there a way to recover it? Even if it means digging
through the file system, I really want it back. It was a story,
creative work and therefore difficult to impossible to replicate.

Ted - it should all be there - from your computer open your web browser - go to your documents and select the document - from there select the File drop down and select See Revision History.  From there you'll most likely need to select the button Show more detailed revisions.  From there you should be able to grab your old file with all your creative input.

Thanks,
Rick

The text document was originally written on my phone. What I surmise
happened was that when I made the changes on my phone, it didn't sync
for whatever reason. When I opened it in a PC browser and made some
small change, not realizing that I was working on an older version of
the document, that became the most recently updated and it was
overwritten on my phone at next sync. The changes I need to recover
never made it to the internet - they don't appear in the revision
history. Is there a way to recover this from my phone?
