Recientemente impartì los cursos 2261 y 2262 para la certficaciòn
MCDST. Aquì colocaremos informaciòn util para los examenes 70-271 y
70-272. Con la aportaciòn de todos lo lograremos!!!

Estos son algunos puntos que pueden venir el el examen:

* If a primary partition or logical drive is created on a basic disk
and the disk is converted to a dynamic disk in windows 2000, the the
partitions and logical drives on the disk are converted to simple
volumes, and the cannot be extended.

* msconfig.exe.- To edit SYSTEM.INI, BOOT.INI, WIN.INI, Services,
Startup Environment, etc...

* In the BOOT.INI with the "/numproc=1" to start only with ONE
processor.

* In perfmon.msc if disk queue length is more than 2, you have disk
problems. IT should be between 1.5 and 2. Disk time should not exced
90%.

* SysPrep switches.-
- Audit.- Allows verification of Hardware and Software.
- Factory.- Allows automated customization of pre-instelled
software, drivers updates, filesystem, registry, INI files.
- Reseal.- After the OEM has run sysprep in factory mode.
- Clean.- Clean the critical device database.

* Authentication methods with "Stored USernames and Passwords".
- NTLM
- Kerberos
- Passport
- SSL
Note: IE is Basic Authentication.

Contribuyendo al grupo, agrego mas temas que pudieran venir en el
exàmen:

* IrNET.- Used in wereless networks to allow computers to communicate
directly with each other or with an Acess Point.

* IrXfer.- Transfer files between computers in wireless networks.

* IrTranP.- Receive Images from a digital Camera.

* A Bus powered Hub can provide up to 100 milliamperes (mA) of power
per port (USB).
- Keyboard and mouse --> Use 100mA of power.
- Video Camera --> 500mA
- Disk Drive --> 500mA
- Printer --> 500mA

* EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol).- Used to authenticate with
Smart Cards.

* BAP (Bandwidth Allocation Protocol).- To use the number of devices
needed to support varying amounts of activity across a connection. Must
also be enabled on the RRAS Server.

* Cache move utility.- Move the Client Side Cache (CSC).

* Press SHIFT key when logging to prevent running startup applications.

* To open a file in IE.-
- file:\\server\document.doc

* Rename NTUser.dat to NTUser.man to prevent profile change.

* Select "First party cookies to accept" to store usernames and
passwords in IE.

* WINMSD is the same tool that MSINFO32.
