How do I save a revised preset to my PC for a backup of the preset?  "Store" puts it into the unit but what if I loose my unit or presets?

Thanks, great tool.  I just got this running on my Bodhi distribution of Linux.  I needed this as I no longer have a windows machine and am now playing in a cover band where I am going to need multiple patches preset.

Hi John,

You should be able to save a preset to an xml file:

Under the 'Preset' menu, select 'save preset to file'.

Similarly, 'load preset from file' will let you load a saved preset back
into the device.

HTH,

Tim

Thanks for the quick response.  With your help, I have discovered the problem:

I am running Bodhi, which relies of LPS versions.  I am essentially running Ubuntu 12.04, next update is this April.
I used Synaptic to download gdigi; according to the repository, this is gdigi version .02.  This explains why I have only one selection under Preset, which is store.  I do not have 'save preset to file' or 'load preset from file' that you suggested I use.  It may also explain why I cannot program the expression pedal on my RP355, which was a recent update to gdigi.

The latest gdigi version is .04.  Do you have a PPA I could use to update my current version?  Do I need to wait for the update in April, or is there another way.   Thanks for your help in advance.

FYI, I did try the instructions for downloading/installing via the .tar file, but had run into dependency problems.  When I saw your program available in Synaptic, I went that recommended route.  I will try what you recommend, though I am already pretty far into re-programming my pedal, version 2 works well for this except for the expression pedal programming which I haven't proven a work-around for.
