Continuing Engineering Division has an open position for a S/W development engineer.
The candidate will join the software developers of the cabling team.
Job duties:
1- Design, improve, implement, and release software that meets functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability requirements.
2- Interface with other developers as needed to understand and manage interdependencies of project tasks, product and flow integration issues.
3- Participate in reviews and/or inspections of, designs, specifications, and code.
4- Write functional and design specifications and other project documentation.
5- Acquire and maintain knowledge of current tools, languages, and processes as determined necessary to support design, implementation, and release of current and future software.
Job Qualifications:
1- B.Sc. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering.
2- 0-3 years of experience in a relevant industry.
3- Minimum grade is very good or equivalent GPA.
4- Knowledge of C/C++ is a must and experience is preferred.
5- Good Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming is required
6- Knowledge of software design process and development life cycle is required
7- Good Knowledge of Java programming is preferred.
8- Knowledge of one or more of the following items is preferred:
a. Familiarity with Linux
b. Unix shell scripting
c. Perl
d. PHP
e. Lex & Yacc
