Do you or someone you know face a challenge that the GDG Boulder group could develop a tech solution for?   If so, post about it here!  We'll discuss them at our next meeting on Apr 3rd and afterwards, kick them off as coding projects for members to work on.

A tech challenge would ideally be small enough in scope, so that the group could develop a solution in one or two meetings.  However, if you have larger ideas, feel free to post them anyway, and we can work on breaking them up into manageable chunks.

To get your gears going, a few examples that were discussed at previous meetings were:
  • App to see how your local city council members voted on specific issues
  • App to breakdown and visualize local government budget spending
  • Speed reading app
  • Consolidating GDG Boulder's Meetup, Google+ and Google Group's web presence

I am very interested in the Android Accessory Development Kit and the Android Open Accessory Protocol.
Perhaps we could do a project that develops a prototype device that can interact with an Android App?
Something along the lines of an Internet of Things (IoT) sensor or actuator or MEMS device.
I do have some more specific examples if the group is interested or if they don't have their own ideas.

Thanks,
Ryan
