Hello fellow GTUG'ers!

Hope you're all good and well! :)

I wanted to inform each Birmingham GTUG member about a change to our branding. Currently we're a GTUG, Google Technology User Group. Under the new branding, we will be known as a GDG Birmingham, a Google Developer Group. We'll go ahead with the change this once we've established that there are no strong objections to this. We are a community after all. (albeit a bit of a quiet one at the mo!)

This FAQ should answer questions you may have. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch! :)

Thank you!
Fahad.  :)

Hi John!

A majority of GTUGS will indeed be changing, although it's completely optional. An advantage of this (arguably) is that chapters will be listed under developers.google.com which will help with visibility and make it easier for interested individuals to get in contact.

Please note that this group is now called GDG Birmingham.

Hi John.

We're still discussing what we'll be doing in London. For now, we are still London GTUG : )
