Heads-up: we've started putting rough/tentative plans together for an Android Wear mini-hackathon on October 25th, 2014 -- an all-day event that would have an introduction to Android Wear, a design sprint, an optional code lab, and a hackathon contest to flesh out your design sprint.

We're building in plans to have coffee, pizza, and snacks to fuel our development appetite for the day.

If you want to contribute to the event (for example, by getting sponsors for prizes for the hackathon teams; or using your Android Wear experience for the power of good by helping lead the code lab or giving the introductory talk), your assistance would very much be welcomed!

We've created the official event at https://developers.google.com/events/5549663764611072/ and the Google+ event at https://plus.google.com/events/c3634o2uobk1tuffloho0f0iqqs - please RSVP and share with your fellow developers.

And if you want to contribute to the event (for example, by getting sponsors for prizes for the hackathon teams; or using your Android Wear experience for the power of good by helping lead the code lab or giving the introductory talk), your assistance would very much be welcomed!
