It has been way too long since we last met (I/O was in _May_!) and the Google development world continues to march forward. While a lot of our attention has been focused on the DevFest Waterloo in September, there's plenty we can learn about in Sudbury. Let's catch up!

We talked about trying a meet-up in a different location, so why don't we give the South End Public Library (http://www.sudburylibraries.ca/en/aboutus/southendlibrary.asp) a shot... say, Thursday, July 18 at 5:30 PM? Some quick "yeas" or "nays" would be appreciated... if we can get enough critical mass, I'll book a room with the library.

Oh, and topic...  has been working with the Google App Engine for a few things recently, and would be happy to do a hands-on walk-through of the basics of developing and deploying Web apps on the Google App Engine. Or if there's something you would like to share, let us know! We need to build our base of speakers :)

Hi, I'm interested in going next Thursday. The location and time works perfectly for me. I've been curious as to learn more about the Google App Engine so that also works out :)

Thanks,
JF

Heh, as it turns out, the South End Library is now booked for that
night, and Main Branch doesn't have any rooms with projection
equipment. So... I'll poke the Laurentian Math & Comp Sci group again
to see if we can go back to our old standby.
