March Meeting Proposal

We need to meet!

Looking at the calendar it appears that March 27th (Wednesday) or 28th (Thursday) might be an open evening.

I'd like to hear from people and see which one would be more likely to be attended.

Venue to be determined, but I'd plan on it being a central location. 

The agenda will be going over some group logistics and then some lightning talks.

If you can potentially attend one of the evenings please just reply to this message with the preferred day and time, and general vicinity that you will be travelling from.

If you have a request for a lightning talk or would like to give one (5 to 10 minutes or so) please include that in your message.

I can do an intro to Google App Engine if there is interest or nobody has anything better to present.

I just won the Google Places API Developers Challenge(https://developers.google.com/places/challenge/) and if there is any interest, I could present the app enchentes.org, very quick.

Hello Group 

I'm a Newbie from Chapel Hill just getting back into programming/development after years of being away.

My primary interest is healthcare reform focusing on empowering the healthcare shopper  - very similar to the way the  "Homeless Reach" app works.

I'm out of town the last week of March -  so please send/post the meeting notes for me to read and I will attend the next meeting.

Majority consensus favored a Wednesday, March 27th meeting. So, we'll meet at 6:30pm at NeoNova (1000 Perimeter Park Drive, Morrisville, NC).

We'll go over some group logistics, and then open the floor for any lightning talks people might have. I'd definitely like to hear from Jonathan about the Google Places API Developers Challenge, and his winning entry. I will try to get a Hangout running for those that want to attend virtually.

We've got a couple of lightning talks on the schedule, but feel free to bring anything you've been wanting to show as there should be plenty of time.
