This is definitely a great deal for anyone trying to get something off the ground.

Google is offering startups $1,000 of credit to start building applications on Google App Engine.

App Engine is a development platform that makes applications easy to write, simple to scale, and trivial to manage.

Apply for App Engine for Startups at cloud.google.com/startups and use verification code: GDG-02.

Deadline for applications is April 30th, so don't wait if you think it is something you could use.

Also, be sure to read the fine print for eligibility and conditions, because there are some.
