DC leads per capita usage. 32% of prompts are writing tasks: memos, policy briefs, email. Makes sense. New York, California, and Washington follow the same pattern.

At the bottom: West Virginia, South Dakota, Mississippi, Arkansas. There, 33-35% of prompts are practical guidance. People asking HOW to do things, not outsourcing the doing.

White-collar states use AI as a co-writer. Everyone else uses it as a how-to guide. Same tool, two completely different economies.
