I am happy to share with you our GDG DevFest Bizerte on its 4th season!

GDG Bizerte & Women techmakers Bizerte organized GDG DevFest Bizerte, 4th season; in partnership with Arabwic Tunisia Chapter and ISET Bizerte-IT-Club, this was under Colorful day as theme for the event.

Date:

October, 26, 2016 from 9 am to 5 pm

Tracks:

Google Communities in Tunisia (Talk), Google Firebase Plateform (session), Developing Android App for Billion (session), Google Material Design (session), Google Analytics Vs Firebase Analytics (session), Women's Problem in tech (talk), Google Firebase Plateform (CodLab), Android developer's performance and security toolbox (Workshop).

Metrics:

Participants:

  •  350 subscribed to the event
  • 300 participants
  • 65% women
  • 10% professional
  • 80% Students

Organizers:

  • 35 organizers
  • 70% Women

Women Panel:

Inspiring panel to motivate women to be more involved in the community. Talk about problems that they have to face while being on the STEM field.

Stand and Animation:

  • Local Radio (ISETB-Radio) animated the coffee break, lunch and closing ceremony.
  • 4 Clubs and women community did set up their stands to introduce them self and give a chance for interested ones to join them.

Media:

Our event was covered by:

  • 3 local radios.
  • 1 National radio.
  • 1 International blog.
  • 1 Electronic Newspaper.

Foods and swags :

  • Free food/ coffee / swags for everyone who joined our event.
  • Some extra gift for participants on the Q/A during sessions and workshops.
  • Personalized swag with their name and passion for each speaker as a thankful gift.

Feedbacks:

  • We collected participant’s feedbacks during the event, we get involved around 200 of the participants in GDG Bizerte and also on Women Techmakers Bizerte.
  • We have got new partnership with some clubs for next events.
