[REPORT] Build it up

This year, GDG Constantine organized the Build It Up Event which has turn out to be a success. We have conducted 10 presentations (5 minutes each). There were more than 100 people joining in for a super fun day.

 

Build it up is an innovation event that will allow students with ideas or who want to innovate to build their projects in a professional setting.

During the event students will benefit from orientation sessions to help them master their projects.

This event will take place in three phases:

Presentation and selection of ideas.

Building the projects ( 3 Months of work).

Presentation of final products.

Selection of the winning project.

 

 

Overview:

Date: February 15, 2017, wednesday.

Time: 9:00 AM to 14:00 PM

Venue: Faculty of New Thechnology of Information and Communication (NTIC), Constantine, Algeria

Metrics:

• Attendees: 100 (45% Female) participant came from different faculties.
• Groups: 10

• Organizers & Volunteers: 20 (30 % Female) .

Note:

• We received more than 100 pre-registration (Google Form).

 Feedback:

We received a positive feedback from participants about first edition of Build It Up event, also we received some recommendations about our event, like extend more places for participants, more workshops, and more activities.

Also a lot of universities in Algeria asked for the same program on their universities.
