Can you mentor at the Meet-a-Mentor event at Brunel University (Tuesday 11/11/14 - 6pm>9pm)

Hi everyone,

Most of our Meet-a-Mentor events are held quite centrally in London, and this can make it difficult for people travelling in from outer London, so we are excited to have a new venue for a session on 11 November -  Brunel University. This will be ideal for anyone in the Uxbridge/West Drayton area, and of course for any current students or recent graduates from Brunel. It's a great opportunity to extend the relationship of GDC and the Meet-a-Mentor scheme with students in a new area.

Brunel University is keen to work with GDC and we have strong support from the staff there. The university is generously offering food and drink to attendees. Lots of Brunel students and ex-students are members of the GDC, so we are confident of a good turn-out from students.

Of course we want every Meet-a-Mentor event to be successful and well attended, but when we start to work with a new college we want the event to be particularly awesome, as then we know we can develop the relationship into something really worthwhile. We will be very grateful for all offers to mentor at the event. Please do get back to me as soon as you can if you would be able to mentor on 11 November, or if you have any further questions. The event will start at 6.30pm and we ask if you could arrive around 6-6.15pm.

Just for information, Brunel University is about 20 minutes walk from Uxbridge tube. You can also use the  frequent bus services U1, U2, U3, U4, U5 or U7 or take the mainline train to West Drayton.
