High Quality contacts pictures

Hi,

since this week it is possible to save high-resolution images as a contact picture. See http://goo.gl/wGRyu. When I download an photo (about the contact.PhotoUri) it is still 96x96 pixels.

I need to download the photo somewhere else? If so, where can I find it?
