Hello, Docs to Markdown users!

While we intend to keep Docs to Markdown simple and focused (on converting Google Docs to Markdown (and HTML as a bonus), we're considering adding some new features.

Based on your usage of Docs to Markdown, what enhancements would you like to see?

Can't guarantee that we'll implement all of them, but we'll certainly consider all of them!

I'd like to have the option to use * instead of _ for bold and italics.

Thanks -- this is a reasonable request, and it should be easy to implement (I probably shouldn't have said that -- easy to implement, but harder to test). I think when I first did this years ago, I somehow had the idea that italic was denoted by a single underline and bold was a double *. But the reality is that italic is single _ or *, and bold is double. Should actually make things simpler -- especially if we just used * or _, but we can provide the option too.
