Unable to update settings w/ gdsr1.9.1 + wp3.0

For some reason I am unable to update GDSR setting through the admin
panel. I can use phpMyAdmin to modify the settings directly and they
do take effect. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm using WP 3.0

The only reason for this problem is use of PHP4. Be sure that you use
PHP5. Check the requirements for the plugin and FAQ.

I'm using php version 5.2.13. So that does not seem to be the problem.

Than, most likely you have some of the security extensions in PHP that
is not properly configured, and it is destroying parts of the POST
requests when you try and save the settings. I am 100% sure that
everything is fine with the plugin and any version of PHP (I use 5.2.9
and 5.2.11, but testet with many, many version of PHP5), and I use
plugin on all my websites, and countless other users use it also
without any problem. Check PHP settings and extensions like suhosin
and other similar ones, they are most likely to blame.

New info:

It seems like some options are being updated properly and others are
not. For example, the number of stars on article post (in a dropdown)
are being updated properly, however, the I haven't found a checkbox
that updates properly yet (Auto insert rating code for articles, for
example). Initially I thought it might just be a problem with
checkboxes, however, I tried other dropdowns and text fields (Vote
rule and Rating header) and these did not update as well.

I've been using the latest version of Firefox, but tried IE to
eliminate browser problems. There is no difference between the two. I
also (through the FF developer toolbar) converted the POST to a GET to
see what was actually being passed. The SQL gdsr_options entry and the
GET url are listed below. I've noticed that not all of the GET fields
have a one-to-one correspondence with the SQL fields (though I may
just be missing something).

I am now almost 100% sure that something on server side is doing this.
Browser is sending full POST as it should be doing. Server side PHP
extension (suhosin or something similar) is mis-configured and is
cutting the POST request eliminating some of the settings from it
before it's past to the PHP script, in our case plugin.

I can't help you further with this, you need to sort this out with
your server settings and configure PHP properly.

info. I will look into the sever side of things more and report my
