using LDAP for ICE

Hector, 

I see some code for using LDAP with ICE. Are those classes being used actively at JBEI? I’d like to use it here and am wondering if with some customization of the code that would work for authentication?

Yes, we use it with the JBEI private registry instance to authenticate with the LBNL credentials. So I believe it should work with some customization but have not tried it with another LDAP system
