The GCP is 14 years old. We have made a good case for the existence of correlation between big events in human consciousness and changes from expected random behavior in the GCP network of random number generators. As a business friend once said to me, "I understand the result. The next question is, "So what?" What comes next?
For me the answer has multiple branches.
1) Understand the data. Search for structure using new analyses and sophisticated tools in aid of (2).
2) Modeling and theory. Testing models against data structure, testing theoretically based hypotheses.
3) Aesthetics. Make art pieces, visual, kinesthetic, musical, beautiful, for art's sake, and to host applications (4).
4) Applications. Develop the implications of GCP findings for individuals and society. Create social presence.
Some thought and effort has been given to all of these, and much is documented on the website -- look under Media & Info for a start on (1). Things like the GCP Dot, which a couple of people here have been working to restore, and Global Brain Painting, Musical Interlude, and the Realtime Display, are among many steps toward (3). There is Theory and Speculation with details in Publications for (2), there are Links and Allies relating to Applications (4).
All of these areas are rich with possibility for more discovery and deeper understanding. We can hope that what we do can benefit society and help foster a brighter future. The recipe for this is clear but not yet broadly known. It can most simply be expressed as "conscious evolution". That pair of words might sound innocent, but think about it: Being conscious is more than being awake, and evolution is more than a random process.

I can provide value in Big Data analytics and theory development. My day job is data mining on integrating biological and health outcome data to understand why some people respond to treatments while others do not. I am looking forward to analyzing social interaction data to identify how consciousness propagates across seemingly disconnected channels.
