GCP/EGG Update, March 18 2013

Time goes faster than I imagine, even though I long since understood
that its speed is proportional to the length of time I've been watching.
In any case it is time for an update. Travel season is beginning, along
with gardening season, so it seems good to let you before I get really
busy know how things are with the EGG project.
