At year's end I want to send my wishes for increasing peace and harmony
for us all.
A few years ago I wrote about the Greek word Eudemony, which means
wellbeing. Stafford Beer, in his wonderful book, "Platform for Change",
says that eudemony is a category of outcomes that indicate we are
enhancing the quality of life. Then and now I think there is a
possibility that the concept might be adopted as the primary measure of
value in our world. Eudemony sounds like a kind of money, and it would
be lovely to take it as our standard. What could be better than being
well and having our family and friends share the blessing?
It has been a long time since I added to the GCP update blog, but I am
going to take it up again. The past couple of years have not been
uneventful, either on the world stage or locally. I have two new books
about the GCP. One was co-authored with Georg Kindel in German, and
published in April 2018 as "Der Welt-Geist: Wie wir alle miteinander
verbunden sind" (The World Spirit: How we are all connected with each
other). The second will be published in February, 2019, as "CONNECTED:
The Emergence of Global Consciousness". I am happy about both books, and
now I'm looking forward to exploring what is next for the Global
Consciousness Project.
Be well, and give gifts of love,
Roger
