Good Morning GCPCPA!
We have a few more prayers, announcements, and reminders to share with you. Please see them below.
As you know, The 2021 Stewardship Season is upon us, which means we have a few weeks to decide what we will give towards God’s work here at Grace Covenant for the upcoming year. By promising to give a certain amount during the year, you will assure that our ministries receive the support they need. As you think about what you can give, please consider a pledge today by filling out the online Pledge Form available on the church website at gcpcpa.org You can give via Easy Tithe as well.
The Congregational Care Team is working on Christmas care packages for some of our members. If you would like to contribute please contact Paula Mengert (paula....@gcpcpa.org).
There will be a congregational meeting taking place on Sunday, December 13 at noon following our online worship. Information about how to join the meeting online or via phone will be coming out shortly.
This year for Advent we will be having a worship series and Bible study on “The Bible and Handel’s Messiah”, where we will explore the Advent texts using the serveral pieces from Handel’s masterpiece. We will include the pieces in worship each week and they will be in conversation with the sermon. The Bible study will take place in small groups throughout the week. Some of the groups will be in-person and some will be virtual. Some of the groups will pick up from small group ministry from last year, but you are free to sign up for those as well. If you are already a member of one of the groups, please sign up anyway so that we have a good count of each group.
Here are the groups that are available.
Sunday, 4pm, Virtual, led by Mark and Susan Craft
Wednesday 3pm, In-person at GCPC, led by Sandy Adams
Thursday, 7:30pm, Virtual, led by Pastor Martha Mitchell
Saturday, 9am, In-person at GCPC, led by Pastor Clint Mitchell
In-person groups have a limit of 15 participants. Virtual group limits are determined by the group leader.
