It has been a pleasure to serve you as president. Many thanks to the fantastic Executive Board Members of 2012-2013 with special mention to the most recent efforts of Hiram Ramirez who is the current editor of GACOPERAS.  In addition to the newsletter, I would also like to share both our Diversity and Inclusion Statement and the Draft Strategic Plan for GCPA which was developed this year based upon close examination of the strategic priorities of the membership. This document is definitely in draft form and will be finalized under the direction of the 2013-2014 Executive Board! I am excited to pass the baton to our next President Jami Hall who will kick off her term officially tomorrow with the GCPA Executive Board Retreat at Southern Polytechnic State University.
