July 21, 2022 Posted: 21 Jul 2022 12:00 AM PDT Issue If you start a credential rotation or an IP address rotation, ensure that you manually complete the rotation. If an operation causes a control plane re-creation while the rotation remains incomplete, your cluster might enter a broken state. Feature Kubernetes control plane metrics are now Generally Available. You can now configure GKE clusters with control plane version 1.23.6-gke.1500 or later to export to Cloud Monitoring certain metrics emitted by the Kubernetes API server, scheduler, and controller manager. These metrics are stored in Cloud Monitoring in a Prometheus-compatible format. They can be queried by sending either a PromQL or MQL query to the Cloud Monitoring API. They can also be used anywhere within Cloud Monitoring, including in custom dashboards or alerting rules.
